This is one of my most favourite card games, which I learnt during my stay in Canada. The game is a mix of Snap and Beggar My Neighbor. It is best played in large groups but is still lots of fun playing in a two. It is quite a simple game, easy to pick up and doesn't require a lot of skill.
After shuffling and then dealing the cards out the first person places one card down. Plus no-one can look at their cards; which should all be faced down. Also when you put your card down you should turn your card over away from you so that you cannot be accused of a cheat if it happens to be snap and you win the pile. Furthermore cards should be placed upwards for the whole group to see. If you put down a number card down then everyone goes around in the circle putting down one card however if your card is a joker, king, queen, ace or jack the game changes.
If the player before you puts down a jack you play one card down and if that card fails to be a face card they win the pile. If the card is a face card then the person after you puts down a certain number of cards. Jack is one, queen means you need to place two cards down, king is three, joker and ace are both four. the aim of the game is to get all of the cards. If you have all the jacks you have the biggest chance of winning as jacks only give one chance however the ace/jokers would result in a player placing down a lot of their cards. Good luck, have fun playing and I hope this is easy to understand!
